Albany Bridal Fair

We would like to thank everyone who came by to see us this past Sunday at the Albany Bridal Fair! We had a great time. We loved seeing past brides, current brides and meeting potential brides. Our brides always hold a special spot in our hearts.
We took a few pictures, but can hardly wait for Sara of Sara Lil Photography to send us some that she took.

Many of you who know us, know that we also teach school. You can imagine our surprise when a former student was one of the bridal gown models. We think you will agree that she has grown up to be a beautiful young woman! Between the two of us this cutie spent 4 years in our classrooms!

Jessica and Travis

Probably the warmest day of Summer, 2008, July 19th. We were thrilled to create the flowers for Jessica and Travis' beautiful evening wedding. Jessica chose a white and lavender color scheme accented with a small bit of yellow. Results: Beautiful bride, beautiful wedding, beautiful flowers! Congratulations and thank you for letting us be a part of your day.

Thank you to Wind Dancer Photography for many of the above photographs! Thanks for sharing your talents with us!

Amber + Jordon

A beautiful bride, a beautiful venue, a beautiful evening!

What better way to celebrate their lives together! The bride's parents opened up their backyard for this event. With the help of some wonderful neighbors, the entire event was staged there. Here are just a few early pictures to share until we receive the professional ones. We loved the flower choices for this wedding.
The following three photos were taken by Jonathon and Carrie of Blue Castle Photography...Amazing! Thank you for sharing with us! http://www.bluecastlephotography.com/

Liz and Charlie, June 21, 2008

The preparations began long ago...the ideas just a vision. It was lovely to see all the pieces come together for this wonderful couple. The weather threatened, but in the end everything was fine. Atavista Bed and Breakfast in Brownsville Oregon is the location. Pale pink, icy blue, and chocolate brown were the chosen colors. Here are just a couple of pictures to share for now.
What a beautiful sight!

Summer has arrived in Corvallis

It has been a cool and unpredictable spring here in Corvallis which is why we were thrilled to see the sun shine for Ashley and Chris. An
absolutely wonderful venue, The Garden in the Woods was ready for them; Sarah Lil' Photography was there to capture the evening's events. We look forward to adding some of her pictures here for you to enjoy.

Hot pink, white, and spring green were Ashley's color choices. This family was organized and it showed. When we arrived, the venue decorations were complete and friends were relaxing before all the last minute preparations began.

One of our favorite pieces was the 26 inch Monogram Floral piece with the couple's last name. It was an exercise in design, not only is construction, but also in how best to hang this very heavy piece. We think we love it. We think they loved it!

Ashley chose to accent the aisle with large floral balls filled with her wedding colors and flowers. Pictures do these more justice than words can. These are one of our favorite pieces to design and really showcase flowers.

Ashley's bouquet was beautiful white callas, grown here in Corvallis. They don't get any more beautiful, that is for sure.

The maids bouquet's were garden style, hand-tied with garden roses, tulips, and callas.

Table centerpieces were similar to the maids bouquets in
mason jars selected by the bride.

This wedding was so much fun. We hope to add a few
more images as they become available. We wish Ashley and Chris all the happiness life has coming their way as husband and wife! Congratulations!

The sun continued to shine and the rains stayed away. What a great couple to work with. Debra and Isaac were both so warm and friendly. Today was a day for them to be surrounded by family and friends. From what we saw, they certainly are on their way to a fulfilling life together. Here are just a couple of early photos we were able to snap...enjoy!

A new adventure...

On the eve of our first April wedding, a new adventure begins. We like the idea of sharing what we do with prospective brides. This seems like a way to elaborate beyond our website. Tomorrow's wedding is all gerberas in shades from light pink to dark red. The bride and groom have been delightful to work with. We can hardly wait to see them tomorrow. The sun has finally arrived in Oregon and we hope their day will be filled with sunshine and wonderful memories. Watch for pictures soon!
